ALL-CATALINA RAFT-UP

Who is invited?

Any owner (or a really good friend of) of any model and/or size Catalina sailboat is invited to join in on the fun.  You do not need to be a member of C36 Fleet 15 or any other organization or club in order to join in on this event.

Is this a "family friendly event"?

YES, we are a "family friendly" organization and invite sailors of all ages to join in on the fun!

What is the purpose of the raft-up?

Have fun!  This raft-up is for owners of Catalina boats of all sizes to get together in a very relaxing setting to meet, socialize, eat, swim, and did I mention, meet some great people.

Is there any obligation?

NO!  Neither we, nor any other organization is recruiting new members at this event.

Where will the raft-up take place?

The raft-up will take place in the Sandy Creek cove on Lake Texoma.  For those of you with GPS the approximate location is N33 55.389 W96 43.406.  A map is available below.  Fleet 15 officers will be in place well in advance of the start time in order to direct boats upon arrival.  We will be monitoring channel 16 and answering to "fleet 15".

What time does it get started?

We will gather at approximately 2:00 PM at Sandy Creek and go until ?

Will food and beverages be provided?

This event is BYOB for snacks and beverages.  We are working on coordination of a way to pool snacks in common area(s) for the group.

Do I need to RSVP?

We encourage you to RSVP HERE if possible as early as possible so that we can better coordinate the placement of boats in the cove.  However, if you have not replied and are on the lake on June 26, please join us anyway!
